On February 2nd and 3rd, the first in-person meeting of the DIGITRAIN consortium took place at the Femxa Formación headquarters in Vigo. DIGITRAIN is a project funded by the Erasmus+ program under Key Action 2 (Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices).
This initial meeting—known as the Kick-off Meeting—served as the official starting point to define the operational objectives, management structure, and detailed work plan for the next 24 months of implementation.
Representatives from the three partner organizations participated:
-
Femxa Formación (Spain) – Project Coordinator.
-
EduTech Italy (Italy) – Responsible for pedagogical content.
-
DigitalSkills e.V. (Germany) – Responsible for evaluation and impact.
During the meeting, topics discussed included:
-
Design of the dissemination plan and communication channels.
-
Planning of deliverables and monitoring methodology.
-
Quality standards and interim evaluation.
-
Prioritization of accessibility as a cross-cutting axis of the project.
Additionally, an introductory training session was held on the principles of the European Digital Competence Framework (DigComp), which will serve as the basis for structuring the project’s training content.
“We want DIGITRAIN to be a useful, practical, and replicable project. We focus on simple, visual, and above all, accessible content for those who need it most,” commented Sonia Rivera, Project Manager at Femxa.
