In line with the European Union’s commitment to driving digital transformation in education, the Erasmus+ program has launched one of its most ambitious strategic actions: the complete digitalization of Learning Agreements.
This progress is an integral part of the European Student Card Initiative, which aims to simplify mobility processes and ensure safer, faster, and more transparent management. According to the latest data presented by the European Commission, over 50% of learning agreements between institutions with ECHE are already processed electronically, with the goal of reaching 95% by 2025.
This context reinforces the relevance of DIGITRAIN, as it promotes the development of basic digital skills among low-qualified adults, facilitating their integration into an educational ecosystem that increasingly demands technological competencies.
Moreover, this initiative aligns perfectly with the principles of sustainability, accessibility, and efficiency that inspire both Erasmus+ and DIGITRAIN, highlighting the need for self-learning tools that prepare European citizens for a modern digital administration.
